One Day

I’m sure that one day my morning coffee will be hot again and not because I had to microwave it five times.
I’m sure my outfits will be less stained and more put together.
I’m sure my meals will no longer be rushed and will maybe even take place at a fine dining restaurant again.
I’m sure one day my morning Bible study won’t take so long because little hands won’t be swatting at the pages. The household chores will once again be more efficient as I won’t be stopping to play a few games in between each load of laundry.
I’m sure one day I will be able to leave the house without multiple bags, toys, and food.
I’m sure these days will come.
But today I’m still in my pajamas, there are toys scattered everywhere and chores are unfinished. My coffee is past saving and the little fingers that explored the pages of my Bible are now stroking my cheek to fall asleep. And I am sure there is no place I would rather be.
